Picking Petals
One true sign of spring in southern California is the blooming groundcover. During the rest of the year it's some shade of green but then in the spring vibrant colors blanket the landscape. We have some on our back hill. Some years back mommy and daddy decided to plant orange and purple, they look so pretty.
Yesterday, while mommy did some yard work, I thought I'd systematically pull petals off the orange flowers. What fun!
