Just Relaxing

Morning at the Beach

Mommy and I headed to the beach this morning. Although we don't have any beach toys yet, I enjoyed making sand castles with the plastic bowls and utensils we gathered from the kitchen. The best part was wading in the water. There were a few waves that mommy had to help me run out of but, for the most part, I did really well on my own. I stayed close so she was within an arms length.

Happy Easter!

Not only is it Easter Sunday but it is also daddy's birthday! We talked to him and wished him a happy birthday. His friends were able to get him a cake to celebrate with him, we'll have to have our celebration when he returns. After church today we had an egg hunt on the front lawn. I was able to find all sorts of treats and sweets for my basket. I was also able to share all the fun with my friends, Phoebe, Cora and Ashley.

Banana Altar

Mommy always gets a good laugh from the strange ideas I come up with. Today, to spice up my afternoon, I decided to have my snack on a fancy pillow. The banana seemed so much more delicious. The only concern was keeping Max away from my beautiful presentation.

Relaxing Afternoon

We are having Vacation Bible School at church this week over spring break. We've been working/playing hard all morning long. By the time we get home I take a nap and have some down time in the afternoon. Today, Max is enjoying the sunlight through the patio door and I am playing hard to make the perfect ball of playdough. Mommy is helping to flatten the balls into 'pancakes'. We're pretending to have a snack of coffee and pancakes. Tasty!
