Happy Halloween

I hope you had as fun a Halloween night as I did! We went to the Fall Festival at our church and there were all sorts of jumpies, games and candy. I met up with Phoebe and we jumped and jumped and jumped some more. I loved being a fairy princess and got all sorts of sweet comments from people. The only thing missing from my night was daddy but we're going to send him some video of the evening as soon as possible.

Santa Barbara Pier

We went to Santa Barbara today and enjoyed some time on the pier. After lunch we headed to the Ty Warner Sea Center and helped with some interactive displays. We pulled up a bucket of sand from the bottom of the ocean and looked for small creatures and also enjoyed touching the star fish. The afternoon was topped off by a cup of ice cream. A perfect day!

Pumpkin Patch and Red Robin

We went to a local pumpkin patch yesterday. I was a bit tempermental, some may say naughty, so the trip was a fairly quick one. I did have enough time to pick out a perfect pumpkin and grandpa helped me carve it on our front porch. We put a candle in it last night and it looks great.

Today we met cousins Michael, Amy and Jimmy at Red Robin for lunch. We loved visiting with them and were very excited to meet Jimmy for the first time. I can't wait to play with him when he gets a little bigger!

Day at the Beach

Grandpa, Grandma, Mommy and I went to the beach this morning and had a great time. We were able to splash in the water, build castles, find sea shells and explore the rock wall. It felt as though it was our own secret spot because there was noone else on the beach, although we did have the company of some dolphins and sea lions in the surf. We're planning another trip for some more fun before they head back to Colorado next week.

Santa Barbara Zoo

Mommy and I had a blast at the Santa Barbara Zoo yesterday! Aside from the animals, the train was my favorite part of the day. It travels around the outer edge of the zoo and gives a different view of some of the exhibits. We saw so many animals and I couldn't help but ask if I could touch them or pet them. Mommy thinks I may have been expecting more of the petting zoo scenerio of the county fair. Regardless, it was great fun!
