Christmas Tree

Mommy and I picked out a Christmas tree last night and decorated today. We got a really little one so she could get it out of the back of the car and we put some things under the tree skirt to make it look taller in our living room. The scent of a live tree can't be beat. It turned out so beautiful and we videotaped the whole thing to send to daddy.

Happy Thanksgiving

Mommy started her day with the Ventura Turkey Trot, the local Thanksgiving 5K. I was more interested in the bouncy castles by the finish line. We talked with daddy in the morning and in the afternoon which made the day very special. We sure miss him on days like these. Auntie L and mommy made our dinner and I heard it was all delicious although I really only ate the turkey and dinner rolls.

Birthday Presents and Santa

I have had a birthday week full of celebration and presents. We opened the last of the gifts last night. I have already played with everything and seem to be interested in all of them regardless of technology or old favorites. My LeapFrog is just as appealing as my wooden train track, I try to stay well rounded!

Tonight we went to see Santa Claus. Mommy says its never too early to put in your request plus we wanted to share the experience with Pop, Gram and Laurye. I needed mommy with me for most of the time but did sit on Santa's lap at the end of our visit. I'm excited to see if my wishes are granted Christmas morning.

My Third Birthday

I have had a great birthday filled with special treats including time with daddy on Skype this morning. Although my day wasn't complete without him, he was able to share the beginning of my day, sing to me, watch me blow out my candles and open gifts. Gram and Pop got us a cabin at the beach for a couple of days so we spent the afternoon playing on the beach and later eating smores around our campfire. What a wonderful day!

Resting with Max

Last night I decided it was time for Max and I to rest for a while. We were both exhausted from all the playing and chasing we had done. Max, in particular, was done with me for the night but still allowed me to lay quietly beside him. He is such a wonderful 'brother'.
