Big Fun
Gram and Pop have been here for a few days and we have had some big fun! We did some shopping, had some brunch with Laurye, had quite a few tea parties and took some trips to the playground. Today we tried to get my new kite into the air. Despite all the adults giving it a good try, as soon as it got head high it would nose dive into the ground. Daddy may have to help us when he gets home. I was just as happy swinging and going down the slide.

Banana Bread
I love to help mommy in the kitchen! We had a couple of banana's that were getting a little too ripe so we decided to make some bread. I added the ingredients and stirred everything together. The best part was finishing off a bit of batter at the end of the project. What could be better?
As a side note, if you follow my blog you may remember my red, heart balloon that mommy believes to be indestructible. It's still completely intact and, although I literally layed on it today to pop it, is still floating around our livingroom. Amazing!

Phoebe's Birthday
My best friend, Phoebe, had her third birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's last night. We enjoyed playing, watching her open presents and having cakes. I had a blast on the carousel and played the bumble bee game many, many times. I learned how to use the token card so kept swiping it until it was out of money. Mommy and I hit the air hockey table which was the first time I played that. Mommy was interested that I got the most fun out of putting the puck in my own goal just so I could get it out of the slot on the side of the table.

Off to the Beach
One of our favorite things to do, to beat the heat, is go to the beach. We have a routine these days. We build some sand castles, collect some feathers and shells, go wading in the surf and then have a snack. It's a great time. This day I also wanted to show off the cover-up that daddy got me when he was in the Philippines this spring. It's beautifully crocheted!
