Swimming Lessons

I started swimming lessons today. I've decided I LOVE being in the pool! I put my face under the water three times and jumped off the side a couple of times. Daddy met us on his lunch break to cheer me on and take pictures and video. This day is extremely well documented.

Big Bear Lake

We had a great time on our trip to Big Bear. Daddy did some 4-wheeling with a Bronco group during the day while mommy and I enjoyed some local fun. We went to the Zoo, the Discovery Center and, of course, did some shopping and 'did lunch'. Despite the signs behind me, I didn't have the beer or deep fried desserts.

One of my favorite things was feeding the duckies at the lake. Max was a bit of a nuisance because as I was trying to lure them to shore with crackers he was chasing them back into the water. Making smores in our cabin was exciting too. Daddy helped with roasting the marshmallows in the fireplace. Yummy!

First Dentist Visit

As you can see, mommy didn't actually get any pictures at the dentist...this is one of me relaxing before church on Sunday. Anyway, my dentist was big fun! The whole office has a spaceship theme and is just for kids. They had video games, puzzles and a movie playing in the waiting room. I didn't want to be torn away from that but the exam room was just as fun. There was a video playing about a monkey brushing his teeth and the Tooth Fairy. I was patient with the dentist, Dr. Cathy, and I even got three stickers and a treat. It took me five minutes to wade through the treat box but finally decided on an orange bracelet. Can't wait for my next visit!
